ABOUT LIL HAMBROOK
Lil earned a degree in Fine Arts in 1987 at the University of Guelph in Ontario and soon found herself in the Yukon Territory, Canada where there were no printshops. She started collecting various presses for both etching, letterpress, bookbinding, and relief printing from Baffin Island, Ontario, California, New York and Connecticut. She has had numerous solo shows in Canada and received several Advanced Artist Grants from the Canada Council for the Arts. Training has taken her to Scotland, California and New York.
Her interests range from the literary and botanic- urban, wild, off-grid, or in the ocean. Geography and geomorphology fascinate her as does perpetual change.
